TWO PROTESTS AGAINST THE "PARTY OF NO COMPASSION" FOR SUFFERING
SATURDAY, JUNE 13
Rep. Katie True (R-41) has rejected peer-reviewed scientific research on the benefits of Medical Marijuana, and wrote a supporter of HB 1393 that "If the majority of my constituents want what you want I would have no interest in being in office. I do not believe your research and have credible information to refute it. You certainly are entitled to believe what you want but so am I." A Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) in Pennsylvania who knows her said "The [MMJ] issue has extremely broad voter support and her 'peer reviewed' data was certainly not peer reviewed by anyone I've read."
Rep. Ron Miller (R-93) once told Chuck that Medical Marijuana is "too controversial" but he may have changed his mind after we picketed his office on June 13.

Brothers & Sisters...Thank you to the 30+ who had the courage to come out and demand their civil rights and at the same time educate the public to the facts and truth about marijuana. This march was a great success as the volume of traffic was heavy with a steady flow of motorists acknowledging our messages with horns blowing, heads and arms hanging out windows shouting for their rights! 200 pieces of literature was passed out and there were 2 newspaper reporters on site. We had approximately 7,000 car loads of people pass by reading our signs and being educated. This will only continue to grow as time comes...it is HAPPENING!
