The Medical Movement, also known as "The Happening,"  is a non-profit association formed to educate and advocate for legal and compassionate use of medical marijuana in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Our goal is to inform the General Assembly about the proven and probable medical benefits which marijuana presents, and to create a new, honest image of marijuana.

When people hear  the word "marijuana", they tend to associate it with dangerous street drugs, illegal activities, jail time-- all bad things.  Our objective is to make "medical marijuana" a familiar health care choice within households and to take the legal fear out of the word with medical facts.  With the help of educated and active believers, we can accomplish our goal and fulfill the the wishes of many patients.

So far, thirteen states, a quarter of the Nation, have recognized the therapeutic benefits of marijuana, and we are working to make Pennsylvania the fourteenth!  We need to have cures, not wars on patients.  Thank you for visiting our website and showing interest in our movement.  Together, let's make it "HAPPEN".
